Animal assisted activities for children and adults with emotional and physical challenges.

Our Mission

Green Acres is a non-profit 501(c)3 (application in process) where physically or emotionally challenged children and adults can come and experience the natural environment of a farm while incorporating various animal assisted activities.  These activities allow participants to develop life building skills through sport, education, recreation and leisure.  Activities are adaptive to each individuals needs which will be determined after initial consultation.  Occupational therapist, certified ophthalmic technician, family counselor and nutrition professionals are also available for consultation.

Animal assisted activities improve quality of life through socialization, support and structure.  Respect, trust, patience and communication skills are also obtained through these activities.
